Elred Estates is the home of the Elred Royal family lineage. The Estate is located in the east of the Red Lands just outside Chara. It is situated on the edge of the Great Northern Forest next to a small stream and lake that flows from the west. It comprises the Manor House, a Guest House, a Mill, Shop and Blacksmithing building that is powered by a water wheel, and lastly the horse Barn and Stables.
As the Trades Guild in Perna began to acquire more political influence Derick and Pamela Elred decided to move back to there ancestral family estate in Chara to help ease the rising conflicts.
The Manor House
The manor house consists of four floors plus a cellar, there is also a passage from the cellar that leads deep into the ground where their is a labyrinth of catacombs.
Through the main double doors to the right is the living area with its own fireplace. Two small guest rooms also occupy this area. To the immediate left is hallway leading to the dining area. Before entering the dining area their is a staircase up to the second floor. Entering the dining area, to the right is an open kitchen and a pantry door that leads to the cellar.
At the top of the stairway is the Grand Foyer, just to the left is the Grand Room. The grand room is two stories high and is a mini ballroom. It is used primarily to entertain guests and can be set as a banquet room or theater. To the right of the Grand Foyer is a stairwell to the third floor as well as two main bedrooms.
The third floor consists of three bedrooms and access to an outside balcony. The forth floor is separated into two spaces. A great bedroom over the Grand Room and a huge open area with no walls. A portion of the roof over the central stairwell area is a great glass skylight allowing a fabulous view of the stars at night.
The Mill
The Mill has two stories. Through the main door is the general store area, a staircase to the second floor and a door to the Gear-House. The Gear-House is on the water-wheel side and includes a grinder and mechanisms to attach saws in the shop area. Up the stairs is living quarters with two sleeping rooms, kitchen, living, dinning area and a stairwell to the attic for extra storage.
The Barn
The barn is simplistic containing eighteen stalls. Most of which now are used for storage. The Carriage, Wagon horses are stabled here as well as the families personal animals.
The Guest House
The ground floor consists of an open living area with a fireplace, kitchen area, two bedrooms, and two storage rooms. The second floor has ten sleeping room, five on each side.
Stepping in through the main door is the open area, open to the second floor ceiling. A fireplace occupies the back third as well as a passage to the kitchen area. On each side is a bedroom door, storage room door, and a stair well to the second floor giving access to the sleeping rooms.
